To my beloved brothers and sisters in the United States of America.

Congratulations on surviving a gruelling election campaign. It was unarguably a contest like no other. Some of you will be crestfallen, and others elated.

My encouragement to you, dear friends, is to be the change you want to see in the USA.

Whether the results of the election have brought you joy or sorrow, work to make the change happen that you believe in. Seek God about the issues that you see that need change. Pray and fast, then follow that up with practical steps to make the change happen.

Feed the poor. Create a safe society. Speak up for those without a voice. Find work for the unemployed. Stand up for women. Make sure black lives matter. Grow a prosperous nation. Fight for equality. Close the gap between the richest and the rest. Receive again the tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

Be the change that makes America great again.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
